Dorset Architectural Services is a design-led architectural consultancy based in Bridport, Dorset.
Having worked for a number of large house developers in the past and present the company offers a wealth of experience in obtaining planning permission for new build dwellings, extensions and refurbishments. We are able to offer clients the benefit of considerable experience and knowledge dealing with local Council planners and planning issues.

Planning Permission
• We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your requirements, should this be by phone or in person at your home.

• Should you wish to use our services we will survey your property / land allowing us to draw your existing/proposed house accurately in AutoCAD.

• Once this is drawn up we can produce the proposed floor plans and elevations for your property, providing you with some concept designs to show you how the alterations can look

• When you are happy with the look of your new house the drawings will then be submitted as a planning application to your local council and managed on your behalf.

Building Control

We produce fully detailed drawings and submit full plans applications to building control on your behalf. If your project requires structural support we can obtain quotes for designs for foundations, supporting beams, loft conversions on your behalf from structural engineers based locally.
